Clinical research supports better posture!

"Adults with neck pain show increased forward head posture compared to asymptomatic adults, and that forward head posture is significantly correlated with neck pain measures" Mahmoud et. al. 2019.

"
Forward head posture causes expansion of the upper thorax and contraction of the lower thorax. These morphological changes cause decreased respiratory function." Koseki et. al. 2019.

"The position of the head has a significant effect on the human body. Research findings show that abnormal head position affects muscle activity, proprioception, the pattern of breathing, and neck pain." Szczygiet et. al. 2020.
"Forward head posture decreases the range of motion of the cervical spine. This biomechanical problem can negatively influence the mental resting state and concentration of an individual." Lee et. al. 2011.

"The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of forward head posture (FHP) on neck disability and level of stress in undergraduate students. The researchers determined that FHP has a strong correlation with stress levels." Tanveer et. al. 2018.

"Forward head posture may act to lower respiratory functions and thus, the maintenance of correct head posture is required to prevent such functional reductions." Kim et. al. 2017.
